Rose Hall Delights with Late Night Frights

Jamaica is famous for its sunny beaches, smooth rum drinks, and laid-back attitude, but one of its most entertaining attractions will actually send chills up your spine. Rose Hall, located just outside Montego Bay, is a sprawling old plantation supposedly haunted by the ghost of Annee Palmer, known as the White Witch because of her cruel mistreatment of her slaves back in the 1820s. The stately old home can be toured during the day, but for a real treat choose the evening tour instead. This candlelit expedition takes you through the house, across the grounds, and to the grave of Annee Palmer, while the ghosts of the murdered slaves--and even Annee herself--pop up from time to time to say hello. It's good, creepy fun, and a nice contrast to your daytime beach activities. Click here for more information.
